Marker Text: ​Built 1852 by minister, lawyer and teacher, Isaac Applewhite, whose hobby was carpentry. Hand-hewn native cedar construction. Typical Victorian architecture.
​    Builder also operated a steam saw mill and grist mill with F. J. Cooke. (1968)
