Edwards County is named for early settler Haden Edwards. The county seat and location of many of the markers in this county  is RockSprings.
I love driving in this part of Texas, there is just something pretty about it. It has been a while since we visited, at that time, the marker for "Site of Rocksprings First Schoolhouse" was missing but happily this marker appeared to back in place, we just have yet to capture it. There are a couple of new markers and a couple that are difficult to access due to being on private property. I definately could use a better shot of Hough Haven at the time I was a bit concerned if went up onto the porch it give way, so I didn't chance it.
