TEXAS HISTORICAL MARKERS

Jim Hogg County

NUMBER OF MARKERS IN COUNTY - 11

Picture
Jim Hogg county is named for James Stephen Hogg who was the 20th governor of Texas. The county seat is Hebbronville.
This is a rural county and to my eye there seemed to be lots of decay, closed stores and abandoned sites. We got burgers from The Burger Barn and they did taste good but it took so long to get them that we thought they had forgotten us.
The three markers we still need to capture are on private property so we are just looking for who to ask for access.
