Marker Text:  This house was designed by noted Austin architect/builder William D. Anderson (1888-1972) for his sister Maggie and her husband Jacque N. Keith (1886-1958). Built in 1933, the house exhibits strong, colonial revival styling in its use of brick, one-over-one windows, and shutters, and Monterey influences including a cantilevered wooden balcony, wooden balustrade, and low-pitched roof. The house built here for its view of the Texas Capitol, remained in the Keith family until 1962. (1994)
