NUMBER OF MARKERS IN COUNTY -  23
Have - 5 Need - 18
Picture
Lamb County  is named for George A. Lamb who was a soldier and died in the Battle of San Jacinto. The county seat is Littlefield.
This was the last county we visited before heading to Santa Fe. We could have captured a few more but got stuck while looking for the gravesite of Franklin A. Loyd for over an hour with no success.  So I'm going to hold off on any impressions until we get the chance to complete the county.
I believe the Franklin A. Loyd marker is in place, it's just a large cemetery and a small marker. The Sudan Hotel medallion was no longer on the building and we looked for the Major George Littlefield 18  x 28 aluminum subject marker to no avail. The only other marker I could not confirm was the Spade Ranch Headquarters, North.
