Marker Text: ​W.T. McKee hired brothers Joseph and Will Jolly to construct this home in 1902. Charles A. Roberts (1863-1937) bought the house in 1905. A deputy sheriff and justice of the peace. He lived here until 1916, when he sold the property to Arthur Baumann (1883-1949), a carpenter and stonemason who built the surrounding outbuildings. The one-and-one-half story house features metal roof crestings, a shed porch, and board-and-batten siding. (1986)
