Marker Text: This was the knell progress. Heralded the arrival of the train at brought people, goods and mail district to the pioneers who stood guard at the ramparts of civilization. It helped to build the Panhandle and brought hope and promise of a better day. It served as a tie time to old homes, treasure memories and loved ones.
