Marker Text: A rare legacy from early Austin, Greek revival house of native stone, probably built in 1850's, was situated on of pioneer teacher Frances Trask (1804-92).
The separate one-room building in the rear is typical of the era. (Year ????) Marker No: ????
Medallion & Plate
Texas Historic Landmark
Geographic:
Location: Third & Red River, Austin
I saw an old news clipping with a picture of the house with the medallion and plate on the left hand side of the porch, the house looks much the same in the picture, so I'm unsure why it has been removed from the Texas Historical Commission Atlas or where the marker is.
