TEXAS HISTORICAL MARKERS

Cochran County Historical Markers

We have yet to explore Cochran County
NUMBER OF MARKERS IN COUNTY - 11

24th March, 2019 - Cochran County only has 11 markers, 6 of which I could not confirm and Cochran County has two plates listed one is a replacement plate. This is obviously a county that is not that interested in historical markers which is understandable. It takes an investment of money and time and if there are other more pressing or vital elements needed by community, then it is easy for historical markers to take a back seat. I would like to thank the person I messaged at the Cochran County museum last night who immediately responded to my question about the medallion and plate for razed Telephone Office and is going to check the old museum to see if it is perphaps there.
