Marker Text : ​Organized April 21, 1855, by pioneer settlers. First pastor: the Rev. W. A. Walker. Isaac Burleson donated site for building, erected in 1855 in Greek revival style, and remodeled in 1961. (1970)
Additional Plate: Marker in memory of Mrs. Bertha Burke (Nov. 2418892 - Feb. 24, 1970) by her children Mrs. L.R. Lagrone and Springer Burke.
