30th May, 2020 - On review there is no new information.  I am reaching out to Hartley County Historical Commission to see if they know what happened to the county jail medallion.
Hartley County is named for brothers Oliver C. and Rufus K. Hartley. The county seat is Channing.
This was one of the last counties we went through on our way to Colorado. At this stage of the trip, we couldn't dilly dally, so we didn't go after the Chief Pastores which was an outlier as all the other markers were in Channing. The Hartley County Jail has seen better days and the medallion was not on the building. The Texas State line markers are not listed in the Texas Historical Commission atlas and we weren't really looking for them at that time, though they were  definitely erected by the State of Texas. I would certainly take a couple of shots of them now for the sake of completeness.
