Picture
The county seat is Karnes City and Karnes county is named for  Henry Karnes soldier in the Texas Revolution. There is a strong Polish community history and heritage, and this is reflected in the architecture which is beautiful and striking,
We visited for the first time in 2006 and then again earlier this year (2022). We have a few more markers to capture and I would  love to retake a few in Panna Maria because they are not what I would like.
