TEXAS HISTORICAL MARKERS

Webb County Historical Markers

NUMBER OF MARKERS IN COUNTY- 57
Have - 5 Need- 52
Webb County is named for James Webb who played numerous roles in Texas history, including secretary of state, attorney general, judge. The county seat is Laredo.
We only very briefly vistied Webb County and did not get down to Laredo were most of the markers reside. We did eat at Lala's restaurant and really enjoyed the crispy beef tacos.
I can already see that Laredo will have some challenges as some of the markers and properties are older and no longer exist, but I do look forward to visiting.
